What I Do

Working in family medicine, I care for patients from birth to geriatrics. My clinical interests include family medicine, women's health, diabetes care, care for anxiety and depression and preventive medicine. I have completed Safe Space training, and I strive to make every encounter a safe space for all patients.

Why I Love My Work

I love working in Family Medicine, as it gives me a chance to care for the patient in every aspect of their life. It also allows me to follow patients over time and get to know them. This helps immensely when caring for the individual and deciding the best treatment strategies. I appreciate being able to involve the patient in decision making about their health.

Getting to Know Me

I grew up in the St. Cloud area and live here with my husband and two sons. In my free time I enjoy reading, snowboarding, running, Nordic skiing and spending time with family.

    Every time I see [Certified Nurse Practitioner] Christina, she gives me comfort by addressing my concerns with answers to my questions. After talking about my symptoms, she discussed a plan with me. She is so great!

    Christy Ringsmuth Mohs is an excellent fit for me. She involved me, had me describe my issues and questions in full before sharing her questions and opinions. She provided excellent care, and since it was my first visit post-surgery, I felt very comfortable with our mutual plan of care.

    I now have a PA as my primary provider, and am pleased that Christina was available, and able to see me on short notice to get tests and referrals arranged.She is personable, thorough, listened well and answered my questions. She also got lab and radiology tests scheduled without delay. Excellent!

    Christina Mohs is always well-prepared to discuss my medical care. When discussing potential changes she clearly provides information regarding the benefits of those changes. In August I began to experience an increase in blood pressure, which Christina thoughtfully, thoroughly and successfully prescribed treatment to decrease my blood pressure.
