What I Do
My philosophy of care is rooted in meeting individual patients at their level and tailoring their care and treatment around their personal goals. Additionally, I strive to provide education to patients and learn something new from all of them.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy electrophysiology because it is an ever-changing environment and there is always something new to learn. I love that technology is incorporated into caring for our patients. I have a clinical interest in implantable cardiac devices.
Getting to Know Me
I decided to go into medicine after my dad was seriously hurt in a work accident. I was so impressed by the nurses and doctors who cared for him. At that point, I knew I wanted to provide for others as they did for him. As a native of Central Minnesota, my favorite pastime during the warm months is spending time at and on the lakes. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling and spending time with my family, friends and my Boston terrier.
