What I Do
Medicine is so much more than a simple diagnosis and treatment plan. Each patient is an individual with differing needs and wants. Getting to know my patients, what motivates them to seek treatment and their desired goals, allows me to provide better care.
Why I Love My Work
Medicine is an ever-evolving field. I enjoy learning about new techniques, medicines and treatments. I also enjoy the relationships that I develop with my patients. We often see patients at their most vulnerable. There is so much trust and intimacy in what we do.
Getting to Know Me
I am originally from Massachusetts, but I spent eight years working in orthopedics in Central Minnesota. My motivation to pursue a career in plastic surgery stems from my time in orthopedics. We often collaborated with the plastic surgery team on trauma cases, and I grew an appreciation for the specialty.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, running and spending time outdoors with my family.
