I provide surgical treatment for diseases of the heart, lungs and mediastinum. I have special interest in coronary artery bypass grafting and valve repair and replacement, as well as aortic and atrial fibrillation surgery. I launched  a temporary and permanent ventricular assist device (VAD) mechanical circulatory support program for the treatment of acute and chronic heart failure at St. Cloud Hospital.

As a native of Stillwater, it is great to be back in Minnesota, serving and caring for the people of the greater St. Cloud area. I am particularly grateful to be part of CentraCare, an organization that genuinely believes in putting the patient first, allowing me to practice in a manner truly consistent with the concept of patient-centered care. Every patient requires and deserves medical care individualized to his or her specific needs. I aim to do just that with every patient I see.
