What I Do
Through my care, I believe in seeing my patient as a person first, then a patient. Treating the whole person is imperative to improving long-term health outcomes. I am most interested in helping patients navigate through mental health/psychiatric crises in an emergency setting.
Why I Love My Work
Psychiatry itself is a beautiful blend of science and the human spirit. My motivation to pursue emergency psychiatry stems from the range of needs that present in an emergency department. Every day is different with emergency care. I feel honored and humbled to serve our patient population during an especially vulnerable time in their lives. My biggest joy is to see individuals begin to heal and have hope during their time of treatment.
Getting to Know Me
My favorite things to do during my free time is hanging out with my family playing games, camping, going on road trips and listening to audiobooks together. I also enjoy running, listening to crime podcasts and meeting up at coffee shops with my friends.
