What I Do
I encourage an open conversation with my patients about treatment options and strive for a team approach to managing their complex conditions. It is important that patients not only feel well cared for but also that they understand their unique pathology and expected treatment outcomes.
My special clinical interests include management of acute trauma and late deformity correction of lower extremity injuries and correction of an acquired deformity to the lower extremity.
Why I Love My Work
I worked in a university hospital while in undergraduate school and was lucky to have work opportunities in health care, exposure to patient care, and guidance with career mentoring during this early phase of my life. My mentors in the field of orthopedic surgery helped me realize my passion for helping people achieve a stronger and better place in life.
I chose to join CentraCare because of their commitments along with the University of Minnesota to elevate an existing standard of orthopedic care in St. Cloud. I am excited to participate in this mission of care in central Minnesota.
Getting to Know Me
I am grateful for the opportunity to experience the central Minnesota community that I live in with the people that I serve. Outside of work, I enjoy fly fishing, tennis, skiing, reading, and spending time with my wife and children.
