What I Do
I provide action and skill-based interventions to help patients manage life stressors and related symptoms. I work with patients to help identify personal values and build skills to manage emotional distress. I believe health and wellness impact the body and the brain. I enjoy empowering others to improve their emotional state with the use of body-based interventions. What we think about, how we move our bodies, and where we look affect how we feel.
My clinical interests include managing anxiety, life stress, symptoms of depression, grief, loss, and recovery from painful life experiences. I want the patients I work with to feel heard, understood and supported.
Why I Love My Work
I was motivated to go into health care because I enjoy helping others. I like playing a part in transformation and helping people heal from painful life events.
Getting to Know Me
My interests outside of work include refinishing furniture, playing with my pugs and spending time with my husband.
