What I Do
As a certified registered nurse anesthetist, I aim to provide compassionate, patient-focused and evidence-based anesthesia care. I believe in treating each patient as a whole person, prioritizing safety, comfort and informed decision-making. By combining clinical expertise with empathy and clear communication, I strive to create a trusting environment where a patient feels supported and confident throughout the surgical experience.
My clinical interests focus on integrating advanced technology and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes. I am particularly interested in the use of real-time hemodynamic monitoring to guide individualized anesthesia care and improve intraoperative stability. I also have a strong commitment to multimodal pain management strategies that reduce opioid use and support faster recovery.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient well-being during the surgical experience. I find it incredibly rewarding to provide comfort and safety in such a high-stakes environment, knowing that my expertise and care can help ease anxiety and ensure a smoother recovery. I also love the challenge of staying current with the latest advancements in anesthesia, using technology and evidence-based care to meet the unique needs of patients. Ultimately, it’s the combination of patient interaction, clinical problem-solving and continuous learning that makes my role so fulfilling.
I was motivated to go into health care by a deep desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives during vulnerable moments. Growing up, I was inspired by the idea of combining science with compassionate care to help others feel better and recover. As I explored different health care fields, I was drawn to anesthesia because it blends critical thinking, advanced technology and the opportunity to provide comfort and safety during surgery. The ability to support patients through what can be a stressful experience, while also contributing to positive outcomes, felt like the perfect way for me to apply my skills and passion for health care.
