What I Do

y philosophy of care is to assist patients through their illness, promoting health and preventing disease. I find honor and privilege in partnering with patients and their families through their health care journey. My special clinical interests include urgent care, family medicine, family planning, pediatrics, dermatology, minor procedures and cardiology.

Why I Love My Work

I enjoy working with patients of all ages and stages. I value helping others and I want to do everything in my power to support and guide people to their highest quality of life physically, mentally and spiritually.

Getting to Know Me

Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. I also enjoy spending time with my family and being together. I like to travel and go on new adventures.

    I was so nervous going to the clinic as I am not seen often. [...] I wasn't sure it was valid and felt really uneasy, almost as if it wasn't a big deal because I feel so great otherwise. Emily Jelen took my concern seriously, validated my feeling of insecurity and provided reassurance that it truly did seem like a concern. She explained what she thought the problem was, what the plan was, and ensured I was okay with the entire plan. She was quick, efficient, and took care of the problem. I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone.
