What I Do
My philosophy of care is working with my patients to make the best decisions about testing and treatment. Medicine provides us with many different options of treatment, but my goal is to make sure we are doing what is best for each patient. My special clinical interests are in shared decision-making, end of life care, and airway management.
Why I Love My Work
I love the challenge of meeting new patients each shift and the mix of simple to extraordinarily complex cases each shift has in the emergency department.
I chose CentraCare for the opportunity to serve a more rural population. I have worked in inner city hospitals and suburbs, so I am excited to expand my horizons into a new community.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, and traveling. After spending the last three years in Seattle, my husband and I are excited to be back in Minnesota.
