What I Do
In my role as an OB/GYN, I like to collaborate with patients to decide on the best approach to treating conditions.
My clinical interests include pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids and complex gynecologic surgery.
Why I Love My Work
I love talking to and collaborating with patients and getting to know them.
Getting to Know Me
My father was a general practitioner in Alexandria, Minnesota. I saw how much he loved practicing medicine, and that inspired me to do the same. I chose OB-GYN because it had all the elements in medicine that I loved, such as the ability to do surgery, deliver babies and have long-term relationships with patients.
I did a live call radio show on myTalk 107.1 from 2009-2017 called the Gyno Show, which focused on women’s health issues. In 2018, I left live radio and developed two podcasts on Matriarch Digital Media, which focused on women’s health and endometriosis.
I was recognized in 2024 and 2025 as a Minnesota Monthly Top Doctor.
Outside of work, I am obsessed with historical fiction as well as culinary history. I play the guitar (not too badly) and have been performing with the same friends since college.
