Vascular Medicine and Vascular Surgery
No rating available. Here's why.

We will publish reviews after we receive 30 patient survey results to reflect a broad range of experiences and ensure accuracy. We also only include physicians or advanced practice providers from our clinic settings. This excludes emergency, general surgery, urgent care, walk-in, and inpatient providers.

What I Do

In my role, I aim to treat patients as I would want my family to be treated. My goal is to prevent the onset and progression of vascular disease, which means utilizing procedures only when necessary. My job is also to be a guide, educator and coach to all my patients and help them overcome adversity. I believe disease does not define anyone.

I specialize in the comprehensive treatment of arterial and venous disease. I provide advanced care in both open and minimally invasive endovascular techniques, with particular expertise in aortic aneurysm repair, aortic/vascular dissection treatment, carotid artery disease, venous disease, peripheral/visceral arterial disease, and dialysis access management.

Why I Love My Work

I was motivated to be a doctor because growing up I was exposed to people with illness and disease and noted that health is a blessing. I view having the opportunity to help someone during a time of illness and being able to prevent illness as a privilege. The enthusiasm of my mentors in residency drew me to explore vascular surgery. That is when I found that vascular surgeons not only perform life and limb saving surgeries but also foster a lifelong relationship with their patients. I enjoy this relationship with patients and being able to offer prevention and care that is tailored for them. Vascular surgery is a rapidly advancing field, integrating technology and conventional surgery. I find it to be mentally stimulating.

In addition to my clinical work, I am committed to advancing the field of vascular surgery through participation and engagement in clinical research, as well as mentoring medical/PA/NP students at the University of Minnesota Medical School CentraCare Regional Campus in St. Cloud. I have authored and presented on topics in endovascular innovation and remain actively engaged in national vascular surgery societies.

Getting to Know Me

Outside of the operating room, I enjoy playing basketball and racket sports, exploring Minnesota’s outdoors, and spending time with my wife, dog and growing family.
