What I Do

I see therapy as a space for both support and discovery — a place where we explore how you adapted to life experiences, especially those that were once out of your control. Many of these adaptations begin in childhood and helped you survive but may no longer serve you today.

Through Internal Family Systems, relational and somatic work, we work to gently create safety in your system so it can begin to unburden old roles and release the core negative beliefs that often come with them — beliefs like “something is wrong with me,” “I’m a burden,” or “no one is going to help me.”

One of the most important truths I hope clients come to know is this: you are not broken. The ways you've coped make sense in the context of what you've been through. Together, we can work to bring more compassion, freedom and connection to those parts of you that have carried so much.

I have experience working with people navigating post-traumatic stress, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and relationship challenges. I have worked with many clients living with complex medical conditions — including mild traumatic brain injury — as well as those experiencing dissociation or parts systems that meet criteria for dissociative identity disorder.

My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with the version of yourself you were always meant to be — more whole, more free and more fully you.

Getting to Know Me

Outside of therapy, I enjoy thrift stores and yard sales, listening to music, spending time in nature, and being with loved ones. I am a cancer survivor and bring lived experience of recovery from both CPTSD and PTSD to my work — something that continues to inform my deep respect for the healing process.
