What I Do
As a family nurse practitioner, I wholeheartedly embrace a holistic style of care, ensuring patients receive quality treatment and management of both acute and chronic conditions. I provide compassionate and personalized patient-centered care by building clinical relationships based on mutual respect, empathy and trust. My clinical interests are chronic headache management and research into head and facial pain, including both pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions.
Why I Love My Work
My primary motivation for entering the healthcare field was to provide top-notch care for patients with chronic conditions, such as chronic headaches. Having suffered from migraine headaches myself, I can empathize with and understand the need for management of this frustrating condition. The part I love most about my job is helping alleviate pain so patients can regain a sense of self-control over their lives.
Getting to Know Me
My personal interests include spending time with my spouse and our French bulldog, Wilma. I enjoy fishing, reading and working on jigsaw puzzles with my mother.
