What I Do
As a neonatal nurse practitioner, I provide evidence-based care to the tiniest and sickest of infants, with a focus on individualized care and team collaboration to optimize outcomes. I strive to be a source of comfort and guidance to families during their NICU journey by prioritizing a family-centered approach and ensuring that patients understand their infant’s condition and plan of care.
My clinical interests include extremely low birth weight infants, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, and persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy my work because of the complexity of managing critically ill infants and the continued growth and advancement of neonatal medicine. It is deeply rewarding to witness the remarkable resilience of infants and their families on a daily basis. I find immense joy in seeing infants overcome significant challenges and reach new milestones in the NICU.
