What I Do
I provide medical care to patients in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting. My approach is to always provide my patients with a great standard of care and treat them in a way that I would be happy seeing my family being treated.
My clinical interests include critical care ultrasonography, hemodynamic optimization, mechanical ventilation, a multidisciplinary approach to critical care, patient- and family-support in the ICU and post-ICU care. I also have completed the National Board of Echocardiography Examination of Special Competence in Critical Care Echocardiography.
Why I Love My Work
What I love most about my work is that it does not feel like work to me. When I work as a critical care intensivist, I feel privileged to be trusted by my patients and their families at the most difficult time of their lives. Together we find a way to overcome many challenges, and this feels meaningful.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, weightlifting, indoor cycling, hiking, dog walking and gardening.
