Palliative Medicine
No rating available. Here's why.

We will publish reviews after we receive 30 patient survey results to reflect a broad range of experiences and ensure accuracy. We also only include physicians or advanced practice providers from our clinic settings. This excludes emergency, general surgery, urgent care, walk-in, and inpatient providers.

What I Do

As a Palliative care provider, I serve as a consultant for patients with advanced, terminal or chronic medical conditions with the greatest aim that my patients understand the complexity of their situation and understand the risk and benefits of the care options available. I act to be their navigator so that the decision they make would be aligned to their values and goals that will allow them to live their best possible life.

Why I Love my Work

Our profession is our choice and I chose to be in this field because it gives me joy and fulfillment. All the while, I thought I am teaching my patients something, yet, I realized that I am actually learning a lot from them. As I walk them through their journey, along the way, I also find more of myself that makes me grateful of the value of every day.

Getting to Know Me

As an immigrant from the Philippines where Palliative care and Hospice does not exist, my personal experience drove me to strive to be better by sharing my knowledge and skills to the community. Outside of work I enjoy time with family and my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
