What I Do
As a family nurse practitioner, I care for patients of all ages and believe in building strong, trusting relationships. I strive to provide care that is compassionate, respectful and tailored to the unique needs of my patients. My goal is to not only treat illness, but to support wellness through education, prevention and partnership. I’m committed to providing care that is evidence-based, culturally sensitive and focused on long-term health and quality of life. I also am a certified operating room nurse and have additional training in weight management and menopause care.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy getting to know my patients, hearing their stories and learning about their lives. After helping them to create a plan of care, I like seeing how it makes an impact on their personal goals and milestones.
Getting to Know Me
When I was a child, I had a sibling who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I remember the impact of the healthcare professionals who cared for my brother and my entire family during his medical journey. I want to be a clinician who can care for patients during the struggles and joys of life with compassion.
I am married with four children. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, cheering on my children at their many sporting events, running and staying active. I love the serenity of being at the lake, "up north" and in nature. I have a twin sister, and she is one of the biggest blessings in my life.
