What I Do
As a surgical PA, I approach patient care with my heart first and my head second. I understand that many patients are nervous or scared, and I strive to ease their minds before addressing their surgical concerns. I believe kindness and compassion are key to a successful treatment plan.
My clinical interests include procedures, arterial disease, and wound care.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy the variety in my work, from assisting in routine general surgeries like gallbladder and hernias to complex six-hour leg revascularizations. It's a privilege to support patients throughout their surgical journey, from consultation to post-op care.
My passion for medicine began with a love for anatomy and biology in high school, inspired by a great science teacher. Surgery allows me to work in diverse settings and be hands-on in patient care.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I'm passionate about health and fitness—I hold a degree in Exercise Science. In my spare time, I enjoy running, biking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
