What I Do
I use person-centered and motivational interviewing to help people attain personal insight and growth. I believe building a therapeutic relationship is a vital starting point in the process, grounded in respect, honesty, directness and humor. I focus on providing a warm, welcoming and non-judgmental space for people to explore their lives, relationships and current stressors.
My clinical interests include play therapy, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, self-injurious behaviors, suicidality, life transitions, crisis management and co-occurring disorders.
Why I Love My Work
My passion is working with children and adolescents, finding out who they are and what makes them unique. I enjoy helping people reach their full potential while instilling a message of hope.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my pug, caring for animals, traveling, going to concerts and being out on the lake.
