What I Do
I believe that the people sitting across from me know their bodies and experiences the best. I aim to work in partnership with my patients to find solutions in line with up-to-date medical knowledge that works for them as individuals. My clinical interests include high- and low-risk pregnancies, uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, perimenopause, menopause and contraception counseling.
Why I Love My Work
Becoming an OB-GYN was always my goal because it allows me to form longitudinal relationships with my patients throughout their lives. I also love that between clinic, surgery, labor and delivery, no day is the same! I most enjoy hearing my patients' stories and getting to learn who they are outside of my office. I also like to empower patients by teaching them about their bodies.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, reading, playing cribbage, cheering on the Minnesota Gophers and Minnesota Wild, spending time with friends and family, and being with my husband, August, and hound dog, Debbie.
