What I Do
As a licensed professional clinical counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor, I believe in a person-centered, strength-based approach where you can find value in your strengths and have your care tailored in a trauma-informed manner. I believe in the power of an authentic and non-judgmental environment to create a safe space. Prioritizing mental health or substance use recovery is not an easy journey, but I will be there to support you every step of the way. If you want to start making positive changes and don’t know where to begin, I would be honored to help guide you along the path of self-discovery and healing.
My clinical interests include anxiety, abuse, criminal justice involvement, depression, grief, LGBTQIA+ concerns, life transitions, trauma, self-esteem and substance use disorders.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy watching individuals grow within their mental health and substance use recovery journeys. It is a blessing to help guide them through the tough and uncomfortable work, and to see them grow and find themselves. I find it incredibly heartwarming when prior patients stop by the office or send an email to share how they are doing after treatment.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also love traveling, reading, baking, going outside and going to the dog park with my dog.
