Emergency Medicine

What I Do

My approach to emergency medicine is to provide compassionate, efficient and evidence-based care to all patients, prioritizing their dignity and urgent needs while fostering collaboration and resilience in the high-pressure environment of the emergency department.

My clinical interest is trauma, and I have a certificate of added qualifications in emergency medicine (EM-CAQ).

Why I Love My Work

I enjoy my work as an emergency medicine physician assistant in a small-town hospital because it allows me to make a direct, meaningful impact on patients’ lives in critical moments, creating connections with both patients and the community. The fast-paced environment and diverse cases keep me challenged and engaged, while a team dynamic provides a supportive backdrop to deliver high-quality care.

Getting to Know Me

In my free time, I love immersing myself in the great outdoors, whether it's paddling through the serene lakes of the Boundary Waters or pitching a tent for a weekend of camping under the stars. I also make sure to stay active with regular exercise, like hiking or running trails, which clears my mind and energizes me. Above all, nothing beats unwinding with a good book or simply hanging out with my family.
