What I Do
As a physician assistant in the CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center, I care for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions that have cardiovascular implications. I am especially interested in innovative cardiovascular interventions and advancing health care. I believe in caring for patients as a whole and caring for patients as individual people. Doing so will help them to better achieve wellness and improved quality of life.
Why I Love My Work
I began my work in health care as a clinical dietitian due to my interest in promoting health and wellness. I was also hungry to understand how the body works. I found that the heart is the engine of the body and that improving its health, can improve the quality of life that patients enjoy. I find it fulfilling to provide my patients with the highest quality of care. I am a perfectionist, and I believe my patients deserve the best I can deliver.
Getting to Know Me
I enjoy time outdoors, physical activity, adventures with family and friends and being the best mom I can be. As a native to Central Minnesota, I want to serve and use my skills to give back to the community I grew up in. I am particularly interested in agriculture and farming and enjoy the camaraderie found in rural communities. Cows happen to be my favorite animal!
