What I Do

I approach caring for patients the same way I would care for family members — with the same attention to detail, empathy and recognition of the larger structures in their lives impacting their whole health. I really believe in partnership in medicine. My clinical interests include full spectrum family medicine, OB care, immigrant and refugee health.

Why I Love My Work

I went into medicine to help my community, and I chose family medicine because I enjoy the diversity of care and the longitudinal relationships you form with people. I love getting to deliver babies, perform procedures and learn about my patients’ interests and backgrounds.

Getting to Know Me

I raise highland cattle with my husband on our farm and am a medical officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
