I have found that when I meet patients in the clinic for their pre-op and later in the surgical environment for their procedure, their anxiety is much decreased. I have had the opportunity to discuss their health problems and concerns and have informed them of what to expect on their surgical or procedure day. It has been amazing to see the change in anxiety levels of some patients as I am a familiar face and they are much more at ease.

I have an interest in continuity of care from seeing patients for their pre op evaluations in clinic to providing their anesthesia in the surgical environment.

My husband and I reside in Benson with our two children. My husband is a farmer near Danvers, Minn. I enjoy gardening, puzzles, cooking, walking, and reading.
