What I Do
My philosophy of care is to treat all patients equally, respectfully and with the aim of including them in all aspects of their care. I enter patient encounters with an open mind.
My clinical interest is in sports medicine.
Why I Love My Work
I love helping others improve the quality of their lives and giving them an opportunity to return to the activities that bring them joy.
Getting to Know Me
My interest in medicine stemmed from being a competitive gymnast growing up. We had a physician specializing in sports medicine who worked with us. I chose orthopedic surgery as my specialty because I can work with people of all ages. I enjoy the variety of the specialty, and I can use my knowledge of diagnostic imaging. Outside of work, I love to spend the summers camping, fishing and relaxing on all the lakes that Northern Minnesota has to offer!
