What I Do
I am honored to partner with patients and their families to provide care across the life span. I believe in patient education and shared decision making for patients to optimize preventive care, understand treatment options and work to have a good quality of life.
My clinical interests include mother/baby care, women’s health, pediatrics and care of underserved populations.
Why I Love My Work
Health care is a fundamental right. I felt called to medicine in service to others and the opportunity to work on complex problems with patients and their families. Family medicine embodies a degree of continuity of care unmatched elsewhere in medicine, caring for patients from birth to death. I like the variety of caring for patients in the clinic, hospital and acute care settings.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I love traveling, hiking and reading. I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala before starting medical school.
