What I Do
My philosophy of care is to approach patients as a whole and have shared decision making about the best course of action for their injury. I do this based on the best available medical evidence and values that are important to them.
My special clinical interests include knee preservation (ACL injuries, multi-ligament knee injuries, patella femoral instability, cartilage procedures, osteotomies about the knee), shoulder preservation (recurrent shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears) and hip preservation (femoral-acetabular instability, abductor tendon tears).
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy seeing patients returning to their pre-injury level of activity after recovering from surgery. I chose my specialty in orthopedic sports medicine because I enjoy the patient population and helping all levels of athletes get back to the activities they love.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy running, biking, hiking, snowboarding, skiing, hockey and painting.
