What I Do
I believe in a patient-centered approach that focuses on restoring function, improving quality of life and empowering individuals through education and compassionate support. I strive to meet my patients where they are and partner with them to develop achievable, personalized goals for their recovery and wellness.
Why I Love My Work
I was drawn to health care because of a personal experience. My Dad is an amputee and growing up, I watched him face the physical and emotional challenges that come with going through recovery and learning to adapt. I also witnessed first-hand the incredible impact that compassionate, skilled providers had on his life and on our family. Knowing he was cared for with such dignity and heart made me want to give the same level of care to others on their journey toward strength, independence and hope. Physical medicine and recovery felt like the perfect fit because it’s all about progress, resilience and creative ways to help people move forward.
I enjoy building relationships with patients and being part of a collaborative care team that focuses on functional outcomes. Watching patients progress over time, celebrating milestones and being in their corner while they reclaim their lives is what motivates me.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of medicine, I enjoy staying active and being a part of the CrossFit community — it keeps me grounded and challenges me both mentally and physically. I love spending quality time with my husband and our mini-Bernedoodle, Willow, who brings so much joy to our lives. I’m also a big football fan and enjoy gathering with family and friends to cheer on the Vikings.
