What I Do
My philosophy of care is to meet the patient where they are and to individualize the treatment to the patient’s ever-changing needs. I strive to provide a safe environment for patients to make changes and grow.
I enjoy providing care for patients with a variety of needs including concussion, brain injury, degenerative neurogenic disorders, voice disorders, motor speech disorders and swallowing disorders. I have special interests in assisting people seeking gender affirming voice treatment and people who have vocal cord dysfunction.
I’ve also completed additional training in transgender and gender-diverse medical care.
Why I Love My Work
What I enjoy most is witnessing my patients’ paths to recovery. Along the way, I get to know them, learn from them and help them on their journeys.
I have always wanted to work in a medical setting. As a young adult, I had the privilege of caring for a family member following a severe accident and was fascinated by speech therapy. It is a wonderful blend of my loves for language, medical work and helping people.
Getting to Know Me
I enjoy reading, sewing, cooking, hiking, yoga, water skiing, snowshoeing and spending time with family and friends.
