What I Do
I focus on using clear communication and empathy when working with patients, so they feel heard and supported during their hospitalization.
My clinical interests include bedside ultrasound and heart failure.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy internal medicine because it is a great combination of fixing acute problems, determining a new diagnosis, and helping improve preexisting comorbidities that might have contributed to the hospitalization. I also enjoy teaching, whether that is discussing a new diagnosis with a patient/family or going over a new admission with a medical student.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of caring for patients, I enjoy playing soccer, mountain biking and making homemade pasta.
