What I Do
In my role as a nurse practitioner, I believe care is better when we look at the whole person as a unique individual. I strive to empower patients through education and collaboration on the plan of care. This includes helping patients improve other chronic conditions related to obesity. I want to help patients achieve their weight loss goals so they can go back to doing what they love! My special clinical interests include weight management, chronic disease management and pediatrics.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy working alongside a passionate and trailblazing group of weight management specialists. CentraCare has helped me grow professionally, first as a nursing assistant, then a registered nurse and finally a nurse practitioner. I pursued nursing because of its blend of science and art. I am a caregiver at heart.
Getting to Know Me
Central Minnesota is my home. I am grateful to work in the community that raised me. Outside of work, I enjoy camping, hiking, baking, crafting and spending time with my friends and family.
