What I Do
My goal is for patients to leave their appointments feeling heard, seen and understood. I believe in people, I care for people, and I am going to do my absolute best to get people fixed up so they can enjoy as many of life's wonderful moments as possible. My clinical interests include women’s health, preventative care, adolescent medicine, LGBTQ+ inclusive care, orthopedics and internal medicine, including diabetes, hypothyroidism, hypertension and gastrointestinal issues. I am also certified in neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and hold a Master of Health Science (MHS).
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy explaining health problems and treatments, so patients feel confident in managing their health and understanding what is happening inside their bodies. I like getting to know my patients and hearing about their jobs, spouses, children and hobbies.
Getting to Know Me
I became a paramedic when I was 19, and I worked on a 911 ambulance for 12 years before going back to school.
I am an outdoors person to my core. I hike, backpack, snowshoe and cross-country ski. A fun fact is I solo backpacked 30 miles of the Ozark Highland Trail in Arkansas.
