What I Do
I believe that the best health care is built on a strong partnership between the physician and the patient. My approach to patient care emphasizes open communication, mutual respect and shared decision-making. I take the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, values and goals, working collaboratively to develop personalized care plans that reflect both medical expertise and the individual’s priorities.
My clinical interests include atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, defibrillator implantation and management, and pacemaker implantation and management, including physiological pacing.
Why I Love My Work
I saw firsthand how limited opportunity and lack of education can shape people’s lives, including lives within my own family. These early experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for purposeful, intellectually engaging work — and medicine offered just that. Drawn by the chance to blend science, humanity and service, I was inspired to pursue a career where I could make a real difference.
I enjoy caring for patients from all different walks of life in team-based settings. I find joy in getting to know my patients and team members.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy playing board games and spending time with my kids. We love going to the movies, hiking and trying new things together.
