What I Do

I work mostly with patients in diabetes prevention, diabetes management and weight management; however, I also see patients for a number of other general nutrition-related conditions.

Why I Love My Work

I really enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level and helping them to problem solve on their own. Everyone I work with is an adult, and my philosophy is to empower them to make their own decisions about their health, with some educated guidance. I find that it is very important to meet people where they are at and never expect perfection. We all make mistakes but what we do with those mistakes is most important. We are all responsible for our choices, and it is quite fulfilling to lead people to a better version of themselves.

Getting to Know Me

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, gardening and spending time with my friends and family. I make a point to travel somewhere new each year and really love to try new foods.
