What I Do
I try to figure out the “one thing” that needs to be addressed in order to make the largest change. I think it is important to get to know the patient in order to match the therapy intervention with what is going to work for them. My special clinical interest is in orthopedics.
Why I Love My Work
I love getting to know my patients and learning from them. I work on a great team that makes is easy for collaboration in order to optimize patient outcomes.
In high school football, an opponent fell on my hand resulting in a ligament tear. I had to work with therapy in order to return to sports. I have since been passionate about rehabilitation and helping people get back to whatever activities are most important for them.
Getting to Know Me
I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to go camping, fishing and to sporting events. I always look forward to deer camp with my siblings and dad every November.
