What I Do

I believe in meeting patients where they are at in life and setting realistic, attainable goals. In order to achieve these goals, it’s important to have a positive environment created on a foundation of trust and good communication. My clinical interests include health promotion and prevention.

Why I Love My Work

I started my career as a registered nurse and enjoyed the opportunity to work bedside at CentraCare – Heart and Vascular Center. My goals of being able to do more for my patients and to help them prevent illness or catch things sooner, led me to pursue a career advancement as a nurse practitioner.

My experiences with my family’s trucking company lend well to my career in occupational medicine and have helped me to understand and relate to the needs of our business partners. What I enjoy most about my job is getting to see patients from different backgrounds and working with great people.

Getting to Know Me

I was born and raised in Central Minnesota. I appreciate it for the small-town communities and their people but also for the ease of access and resources that come along with living in an area like St. Cloud.

Outside of work, I enjoy being on the lake and family time with my husband, our two kids, and two dogs. We also like riding ATVs on the Iron Range, reading, cooking, and grilling.
