What I Do
As a physician assistant, my focus is to walk alongside you and support your health care goals. I believe in the importance of getting to know my patients and understanding their unique values so that we can work together in partnership. With a background in behavioral health, I am focused on supporting whole-person wellness (physical, mental, social and spiritual) throughout the lifespan, from pediatrics to end-of-life care.
My clinical interests include women’s health, pediatrics, mental health, in-office procedures, chronic disease management, and whole-person wellness.
Why I Love My Work
I have always felt called to serve others. Medicine allows me to follow this calling while also fulfilling my passion for lifelong learning. Within family medicine, I see a variety of patients and have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with families. I enjoy meeting new people every day and supporting them through whatever medical concerns they have. Sometimes practicing medicine can feel like putting a puzzle together. I love putting together puzzles, and it’s much more satisfying when the puzzle involves people and results in someone feeling better.
Getting to Know Me
I specifically chose to work at the CentraCare – St. Joseph Clinic because of its warm, family feel. As part of the St. Joseph community, I am thankful for the opportunity to serve my neighbors.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two sons and our sweet golden retriever. As a family, we enjoy traveling, playing games and snowboarding. I also love reading, quilting, gardening, cooking, practicing yoga and watching college football.
