What I Do
I enjoy caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Health is reflective of lifestyle, meaning our physical and mental wellbeing mirrors our daily habits, thoughts and choices. I wish to simply act as a helpful resource for patients to achieve wellness. My clinical interests include addiction medicine, lifestyle medicine, sports medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine.
Why I Love My Work
I initially went to school for physical therapy and athletic training, but I wanted a larger scope of practice and responsibility while maintaining continuity of care with patients. I enjoy having conversations with patients and learning about their lives to help construct optimal, individualized and holistic care. I love opportunities to teach patients about healthcare, because it helps them build confidence and makes the field of medicine seem less daunting.
Getting to Know Me
I was born and raised in Minnesota, so I love being outdoors spending time with my family, whether it be hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, cooking or going to a local park. I am a loyal and faithful Minnesota professional sports fan, with a special love for the Minnesota Vikings and Wild. I also enjoy watching movies and TV shows, with favorites being “Star Wars” and “The Big Bang Theory.” Fun fact about me: I traveled to Belgium to teach osteopathic medicine and lead expert dissections in anatomy labs.
