Sarah Campos, CNP

Gastroenterology

What I Do

I am an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. My clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, inflammatory bowel syndrome, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

My approach to care is the recognition that all people are different and have different needs related to their physical, social, psychological and spiritual wellbeing.

Why I Love My Work

My motivation for going into health care was the desire to help people to the best of my ability. Gastroenterology is fascinating because it involves numerous organs that collectively work together to sustain our bodies. With this, there are many complex diseases and diagnoses that can arise that typically need to be managed lifelong. I enjoy getting to know patients, having the opportunity to care for them long term and working through challenges to optimize health.

I also enjoy collaborating with other team members to ensure we are helping people to the best of our abilities based off current guidelines and evidence-based practices.

Getting to Know Me

In my free time, I enjoy cooking and being outdoors, specifically being on the lake. I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and boating.
