What I Do
A vital role in pediatrics is being entrusted with the care of a child. I believe strongly in working together as a team with families and medical staff to provide an individualized, holistic and evidence-based plan of care for each child.
My clinical interests include pediatric inpatient medicine, point of care ultrasound, pediatric advocacy, medical education and the development of community-based projects that improve the health of children and their families.
Why I Love My Work
I anticipate finding out what new joys and challenges each day will bring. I have the honor to be with families on some of the best, and most difficult days of their lives. I love working with families and helping children grow and develop into the happiest and healthiest version of themselves.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially when we are exploring the outdoors and traveling. I also enjoy reading, crafting and trying new recipes on Pinterest.
I served as an Active-Duty Army Pediatrician for the past seven years. I have cared for many strong and resilient children and families. This includes both military and Afghan refugee families. I will not only be dedicated to the medical needs of your child, but I will advocate within your community to find ways to improve availability and access to resources.
