What I Do
My philosophy of care is to treat the whole person and not just the condition. I do this by looking at the whole body to understand how to fix the source of the problem. I believe ongoing education is key to providing the most up-to-date, research-based treatment interventions for the highest quality of care.
My clinical interests include general orthopedics, post-operative care, running-related injuries, pediatrics and neurological rehabilitation.
Why I Love My Work
What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to work with an amazing team, and I continue to learn from them daily. I love working with people. I enjoy getting to know their stories and being a small part of these stories as someone who helped them achieve goals and get back to doing what they love.
Getting to Know Me
Throughout high school and college, I had many sports-related injuries. Being a collegiate cross country and track athlete, I had to overcome many of my own injuries and adversities to get back to competing at a high level. I appreciated all the physical therapists and the sports medicine specialists who worked with me to get me back to doing what I loved. I am from a small town in Northern Minnesota. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, running, weightlifting, being outdoors, traveling and attending Minnesota sporting events with my husband and my family.
