What I Do
Within my role in family medicine, I strive to give patients space to express their concerns and feel heard. I aim to make mutual decisions with patients regarding their care and to create achievable goals with them to help with their conditions.
My clinical interests include mental health, gender medicine and women’s health.
I’ve completed additional training in transgender and gender-diverse medical care.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy family medicine because of the variety of age groups I see and conditions I encounter. No day is ever the same.
I really love connecting with patients and developing longstanding, caring relationships with them. I aim to be a trusted partner as they go through health challenges and celebrate health victories. It is always a great feeling when you see patients at follow-up appointments and they have made a lot of progress.
From an early age I was drawn to science and medicine. I have always been fascinated by the human body and wanted to know more so that I could share that knowledge with others. In elementary school I asked for a microscope for Christmas!
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, baking, watching TV/movies, going to concerts, kayaking, hiking and hanging out with my cat. A unique fact about me is that I have been to all 50 states!
