What I Do

My philosophy of care is to work with my patients to come up with a plan that works for them. I went into the field of medicine because I was always interested in science. I specialized in Family Medicine so I could take care of people of all ages. My special clinical interests include caring for acute and chronic needs of patients of all ages.

I enjoy interacting with different people and helping them make positive changes in their health.

Getting to Know Me

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, gardening, putting puzzles together, baseball and crafting. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

    She seemed low energy, not smiling, not welcoming nicely, I had to ask plenty questions to satisfy my condition and she wasn't giving me comfort herself

    This was the worst visit I have experienced!

    I've seen this person in the past and wasn't at all pleased with her. This time was no different. I felt like I was brushed off, and wasn't actually listened to. The visit notes weren't accurate and it was a waste of time for everything involved. My rash was very obviously worse than when I'd last been in and I'd been told to follow up if it worsened at all. Well I did and essentially got told to suck it up and wait it out. I'd rather die than see her again.

    Explained my options, the side effects, what to look out for, etc without me having to ask. Was honest about wait times for some treatments. Let me make my own decision given the options

    The in person visit was fine but there was no call after lab results were in giving information about the results and the medication that went to the pharmacy. I had to reach out and contact about lab results and prescription.

    [Certified Nurse Practitioner] Susan Heying did a great job filling in for my doctor who was unavailable to complete my pre-op appointment before a foot surgery procedure in February. She was very helpful and resourceful for my questions.
