What I Do
My approach to diabetes care focuses on empowering patients through education, compassion and advanced technology. I believe patients need to understand their medical conditions to manage them effectively. I strive to build a trusting and compassionate environment to ensure patients feel motivated to take an active role in their health. Additionally, I embrace cutting edge technology, such as continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps, to help optimize management and improve quality of life.
A clinical interest is treating patients with type 1 diabetes through insulin pump therapy.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy building trusting relationships with patients and encouraging them to take control of their health.
My motivation to pursue endocrinology stems from my passion for fitness, overall health, and a belief in empowering others to lead healthier lives. Living with type 1 diabetes has given me first-hand experience of the challenges and triumphs of managing a chronic condition, fueling my drive to support others on similar journeys.
