What I Do

In my role, I practice patient-centered, holistic health care. I consider patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and environmental needs when assisting them. I strive to create a healing environment that promotes well-being.

Why I Love My Work

 I enjoy working in urgent care because of the fast-pace, variety and problem-solving opportunities. No two situations are ever the same. Helping patients feel better brings me great satisfaction.

My motivation for entering health care was and remains my mother-in-law. As a dedicated RN, her passion for helping others and her love for the profession inspired me. I began my journey by earning my LPN, and after loving the interactions with patients, I pursued my RN and eventually my BSN. When our children went off to college, I embarked on a new adventure and earned my CNP.

Getting to Know Me

Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy traveling, exploring, learning and experiencing the world. I have visited 44 states within the continental U.S. and more than 10 countries. I prefer museums over amusement parks, tents over campers, and hiking over biking.

A unique fact about my life is that my husband and I come from a large family. Altogether, our immediate family consists of more than 75 people with 20 in-laws, 36 nephews and nieces, and 17 great-nephews and great-nieces.
