Vascular Medicine and Vascular Surgery
No rating available. Here's why.

We will publish reviews after we receive 30 patient survey results to reflect a broad range of experiences and ensure accuracy. We also only include physicians or advanced practice providers from our clinic settings. This excludes emergency, general surgery, urgent care, walk-in, and inpatient providers.

What I Do

As a physician assistant, I chose to pursue a career in vascular surgery because I appreciate the intricacies of the procedures and complexity of the field. In my role, I find it important to take time to explain the disease process and proposed surgical interventions to all my patients. I want them to be involved in medical decisions and feel supported before surgery, during their time in the hospital and throughout their post-operative recovery.

Why I Love My Work

I enjoy following patients through the entire surgery process — from perioperative care to the operating room. I appreciate working with a talented, motivated and supportive vascular surgery team.

Getting to Know Me

I grew up in a family of medical providers, so I have always been surrounded by and interested in medicine. I wanted to join a field of work that allowed me to work with people and help others.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also like to travel, read, workout and try new restaurants. My last name is pronounced Groot-wah-sink, but you can call me Tori.
