What I Do
As a general surgeon, I treat a broad variety of conditions and deliver high quality surgical care. My special clinical interests include gallbladder surgery, hernia repair surgery, colon surgery, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. I have particular interest in the minimally invasive treatment options for these conditions (i.e., laparoscopic and robotic surgery). My philosophy of care is that improved health is achieved when there is a merging of a patient’s goals of care and evidence-based surgical treatment. I believe it is my duty to educate patients on their surgical options.
Why I Love My Work
I always had a desire to improve the lives of my fellow human beings. That is why I enjoy seeing patients have improvements in quality of life after surgery.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work I enjoy hunting, cycling, scuba diving and history.
