    What I Do
I provide holistic care to children and adults in the realms of weight management and eating disorders. In my practice, I help my patients understand and change their thought process around food, weight, nutrition, and body image while supporting health promotion and medical management. The journey is different for each person, and I am committed to finding an individualized plan of care that works for each patient.

    Why I Love My Work
I went into health care to help people reach their personal health goals and improve their daily lives. Specializing in weight management and eating disorders gives me the opportunity to experience the rewards and challenges present inherently in the continuum of health of both the body and mind. What I enjoy most is getting to know my patients, hearing their stories, and watching them progress from visit to visit. Each step forward, no matter how small, is worth celebrating.

I joined CentraCare in 2013 and worked as a registered nurse in orthopedics, NICU/pediatrics, and post-operative care before becoming a nurse practitioner. CentraCare is a leader in providing comprehensive health care services and specialties in both rural and urban central Minnesota.

    Getting to Know Me
I live in the St. Cloud area with my husband, son, and two dogs – a boxer and a Shiba Inu Pomeranian mix. We like to take on challenges and adventures, one of which included gutting and renovating our current home!

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time at the lake, fishing, exploring the outdoors, snowboarding, and traveling to destinations near and far. One of my favorite aspects of traveling is trying the cuisine and trying to recreate it at home. Some of our favorite trips include backpacking through Europe and traveling the beautiful islands of Greece.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

CentraCare care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to help us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

How can you help?

  • Please get your COVID vaccines and booster shots. They are proven safe and effective in reducing COVID illness, keeping people out of the hospital, and preventing death.
  • If your situation is not an emergency, please use other care options, including:
  • If this is a medical emergency, call 9-1-1, or visit the ER.

Together, we can do this. Thank you for your support.
